Private Pilot Training Course

For the student with no experience, the first step is Private Pilot Certification. This FAA Approved Course will take you from zero experience to full private pilot certification.

  • 20 Hours Ground Training
  • 45 Hours Flight (Cessna)
  • Private Pilot Written Test (fee paid directly to CATS testing)
  • Private Pilot Practical Test (fee paid directly to examiner)

Results in: A Private Pilot Certificate

Instrument Training Course

Advance your skills with additional flight hours that will consist of flight training solely in reference to the cockpit instrumentation, advanced meteorology, and rules and procedures that are specific to the Instrument Rated Pilot.

  • 10 Hours G1000 Simulator Training
  • 18 Hours Pre/Post Flight Briefings
  • Glass Cockpit Training

Results in: Instrument Rating (Single Engine)

Advanced Training Course       

Advance your skills with more solo flight hours and multiengine aircraft training. In this program you will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to meet both Single Engine and Multi Engine Commercial Pilot requirements.

  • 48 Hours Formal Ground School
  • 128 Flight Hours
  • 18 Hours Pre/Post Flight Briefings
  • Glass Cockpit Training
  • Multi-Engine Private Pilot Certification (for PIC time building)
  • Commercial Pilot Singe Engine Certification
  • Commercial Pilot Multi Engine Rating (added rating)

Results in: Commercial Pilot Certification (Multiengine and Single Engine)

Flight Instructor    

The Flight Instructor Certification Course is designed for the professional student who plans to work as a CFI (Certificated Flight Instructor). Working as a professional instructor pilot allows you to get paid, build flight time and gain some of the most valuable experience possible in aviation. Instructing will develop leadership skills, responsibility and communication skill which will be used throughout your entire career. Course includes:

  • 40 Hours Formal Ground School
  • 18 Hours Pre/Post Briefings
  • Right Seat Transition Training
  • 12 Hours Complex Aircraft Flight Training

Results in: Single Engine Flight Instructor Rating

Turbo Prop Introduction (King Air)    

The Flight Instructor Certification Course is designed for the professional student who plans to work as a CFI (Certificated Flight Instructor). Working as a professional instructor pilot allows you to get paid, build flight time and gain some of the most valuable experience possible in aviation. Instructing will develop leadership skills, responsibility and communication skill which will be used throughout your entire career. Course includes:

  • 8 Hours Formal Ground School
  • 5 Hours Flight Training (2.5 Flight, 2.5 Simulator)
