Falcon Aviation Academy @ Peachtree-Dekalb Airport is an excellent airport for flight training. Home of Epps Aviation, Falcon Aviation Academy has taken a strong hold on the second largest airport in the state of Georgia. Some of the many facilites available include: an ILS precision runway with additional non-precision approachs, and a full time control tower. There are three runways to choose from, all with varying lengths and surfaces, which allows for excellent training in all types of conditions. The geographic location allows for easy access to multiple other local airports as well as training in and around the Atlanta Class B airspace. Communication among many other areas is an important topic taught during all phases of pilot training and by training at Peachtree-Dekalb you will be emmersed in the world of Air Traffic Control from Day One.
