**MUST READ INFO** |
ETA GO-LIVE DATE
We are scheduled to scale down operations and "GO-LIVE" on
This is just under two weeks from today! All flight reservations that are currently booked via MyFBO will be cancelled and will need to be rescheduled. Falcon will not be able to manually reschedule all of these flights so it is best that you print off your schedule and call us with any questions. |
Renter Customers
|
Initially, all Renter or Student Solo Customers must call your flight base in order to schedule an aircraft for the time you request. We can not guarantee a specific tail number as this new system operates on a different logic
(See Main Section Below) |
Current Students
|
The transition to this new system will take more than just a couple of days during the "Go-Live" period. Please be patient with us during this time as we attempt to maintain the training schedule you are used to. |
Aircraft Owners
|
As an aircraft owner, this new system will also affect you when attempting to reserve your aircraft. You will have access to a direct scheduler feature that will allow the reservation of your specific tail number. We will be able to explain this function once the transition takes place.
|
ALL CUSTOMERS
|
Be on the Look-Out for your unique access code once we have successfully completed the "Go-Live" transition. An e-mail will be sent out as well as a precautionary message on MyFBO for those that do not receive our e-mail newsletters. |

Falcon Aviation Academy selects ETA for our new
Online Training Management System
| |
| |
| Two Systems...Greater Control |
| |
ETA (Education Training Administration) and RMS (Resource Maintenance System) has been selected by Falcon Aviation to take the place of the current MyFBO online scheduling program.
ETA will become the new student interface that you will need to become familiar with once we "Go Live". The Online Scheduling Link will be updated on our web site to redirect you to the new system.
Now you are probably wondering what this NEW system is going to do and why this change is necessary.
|
| What will ETA do for Falcon? |
| |
- Course Management
- Student Records
- Instructor Performance
- Resource Management
- Scheduling
- Extensive Reporting
- Greater Security
- Personnel Management
|
| Paper Records soon to be Replaced! |
| |
Effective immediately upon the "Go-Live" day, all Part 61 students will be transferred to Electronic Curriculum via the ETA management system
Part 141 students for a temporary time, be dually tracked via the traditional paper records as well as via Electronic Curriculum system. This is a required step in order to gain FAA approval. This process could take anywhere from 3-9 months depending on the accuracy of the dual records process. |
| Preparation Process |
| |
We have been preparing since early January, loading all the courses, aircraft, customer information and other required data.
A portion of our staff have attended over 65 hours of training in addition to multiple phone and e-mail conversations in order to effectively customize the system to fit the needs of all the Falcon Training Locations.

MAJOR DIFFERENCES TO NOTE: |
In addition to the obvious interface change, the major differences that you will want to be aware of include the following:
- Aircraft Schedule Request will not include a specific Tail Number. All schedule requests will require the selection of a Aircraft Type (i.e. DA20, C177, etc.). You will be able to view the available total aircraft of a specific type but the actual tail number will be automatically assigned at the time of dispatch. This assignment will be a reflection of the systems analysis of multiple data inputs such as Monthly Utilization Balancing and Maintenance Availability. Just to get it out early...there will not be a way to request a specific tail number unless you are an owner/associate of a specific tail number.
- Enrolled Students will have access to the Training Curriculum for which they are enrolled. They will be able to view the upcoming lessons, current progress, and history of previous lessons as entered by their instructor.
- Additionally, all Students will be able to verify each charge to their Debit Account before it is processed. This is only for those that have money on account and are an active student. This process is completed via a PIN NUMBER system. After each training lesson the instructor and the student will complete their debrief by recording the progress online in ETA and both the lesson information as well as the current billing information for this lesson will be electronically signed via the instructor AND the students PIN NUMBER.
- Enhanced Authorization Tracking Capability...ETA will accurately track and manage pilot qualifications and currencies. All of our standards will continue to be monitored such as 60 day flight currency, 1 year company review, and all appropriate documentation on file.
|
Additional information should become available as this transition takes place. We will also evaluate the need to schedule some customer/student training sessions to assist in this transition process.
REMEMBER:
All flight currently scheduled on MyFBO after May 7-8th will need to be rescheduled. Please check with the Falcon Dispatch to verify your reservations are transferred correctly. |
